Prescriptions

We aim to make the prescription process as simple as possible for all our patients.

Repeat prescriptions

The practice will accept patient requests for repeat prescriptions using the appropriate form.

A repeat request form – a computerised repeat slip, having clearly ticked the required items.

Please allow 48 hours for processing and checking by the Doctor. This means two working days excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Please take care to order in advance if you have travel/holiday plans or if there is a bank holiday

Things to remember

Medication reviews

Patients who are prescribed repeat medications will need to schedule an annual review with a doctor, nurse practitioner, or prescribing pharmacist to ensure that their regular medications are still appropriate.

This requirement will be indicated on the repeat slip.

Alternatively, patients may be asked to fill out an online form instead of visiting the medical practice.

Failure to book an appropriate appointment may delay further prescriptions.

One off medications may be able to be prescribed using the form below.
